New Delhi: Supreme Court Judge, Justice Mohan M. Shantanagoudar passed away on Saturday following a prolonged illness. He was 63 years old.
Justice Shantanagoudar was elevated as the Judge of the Supreme Court on February 17, 2017, before which he was functioning as the Chief Justice of the High Court of Kerala.
He had earlier served as Vice-Chairman of Karnataka State Bar Council from 1991 to 1993 and as Chairman of Karnataka State Bar Council during 1995 and 1996.
Later he was appointed as Additional Judge of the Karnataka High Court in May 2013 and as Permanent Judge in September 2004.
