Huzurabad/Peddapalli (Telangana) : Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, appealed to the public to grant a significant mandate to the BJP, sending a resounding message to BRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao that the people stand with the BJP.

Addressing a public meeting in Huzurabad and participating in a rally at Peddapalli, Shah urged voters to secure a massive majority for BJP candidate Etala Rajender, emphasizing the importance of conveying a clear message to Chandrasekhar Rao that the BRS should not secure a candidate in the next elections.

Shah asserted, “Any vote for Congress will essentially benefit BRS. If you desire a change in government, cast your vote for the BJP. Votes for Congress or BRS would only perpetuate family rule. I have toured the entire Telangana, and there has been a tremendous response from the public in favor of the BJP.”

Highlighting alleged agreements between Congress and TRS, Shah claimed that Congress would support KCR as CM for the third time, and KCR would, in turn, support Rahul Gandhi for Prime Minister, although the position is not vacant. Shah criticized all three parties – Congress, BRS, and MIM – as family-centric, predicting corruption and family rule under their leadership.

Promising to appoint a Chief Minister from the BC community after the party comes to power, Shah pledged to withdraw the four percent reservation extended to Muslims and redirect it to SCs, STs, and BCs.

He accused KCR of avoiding the organization of Liberation Day due to fear of Owaisi.

Shah highlighted the financial support provided by the BJP government at the Centre to Telangana, contrasting it with the UPA rule’s assistance to the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.

He promised various initiatives, including the reduction of VAT, a Rs. 2,500 input subsidy for farmers, a minimum support price of Rs. 3,100 for paddy, the establishment of a State Turmeric Board, payment of crop insurance premiums for all farmers, distribution of four free gas cylinders, and health insurance.

Additionally, Shah announced that the Pran Pratishta for the Rama Mandir in Ayodhya would take place on January 22nd, 2024, and the BJP government would facilitate free travel to the temple after assuming power in the state.
