Shillong: As part of his maiden visit to Assam and Meghalaya, His Excellency, Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, accompanied by his spouse, Friday paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Meghalaya, Phagu Chauhan at Raj Bhavan Shillong.
During the meeting, the two engaged in a wide-ranging discussion, exploring avenues to further strengthen the relationship between France and India.
Principal Secretary to the Governor, Harish Chandra Chaudhary, IFS was also present at the meeting.
