COVID 19: Sikkim records 105 cases; Students of JNV worst affected

Out of the total of 6,696 cases registered so far, 6014 have been discharged on recovery.

Gangtok: Sikkim has recorded 105 new Corona cases, including 46 tested in Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya, Rabongla South Sikkim, officials from the health department said.

At least 399 active cases are there. Out of the total of 6,696 cases registered so far, 6014 have been discharged on recovery. Due to nil death total deaths figure remains at 136, said Sonam Bhutia, Information, Education and Communication Officer, Health Department.

One of the JNV teachers tested positive on reaching her state, consequently, whole school students and staff were tested in Rabongla. 44 Students, I staff and her husband have been detected Corona positive. The mass infection has led to the containment of School.
