Churachandpur: As part of its continuous commitment to youth empowerment and nation-building, the Assam Rifles organised a grand felicitation ceremony at Veng in Churachandpur district on 18 July 2026. The event was specifically held to recognise and encourage the remarkable achievements of local youth who are being actively prepared and mentored for recruitment into the Armed Forces through structured pre-recruitment training and guidance programmes.
The ceremony witnessed the felicitation of 76 successful candidates, including both male and female aspirants, who cleared the challenging Agniveer written examination. These candidates were warmly congratulated on their remarkable achievement and highly commended for their stellar dedication, perseverance and hard work. During the interaction, the successful aspirants were encouraged to remain physically fit and completely focused forir the subsequent stages of the recruitment process. They were exhorted to uphold the timeless values of discipline, integrity and patriotism as future members of the Armed Forces.
The ceremony was attended by Assam Rifles personnel and members of the local community, who deeply appreciated the organisation’s continued efforts in guiding and empowering the youth of the region. This meaningful initiative successfully enhanced the confidence, knowledge and employability of aspiring candidates, proving the efficacy of sustained institutional support. It served as a vital source of motivation for the qualifiers while inspiring other aspiring youth of the region to pursue rewarding careers in the Armed Forces.
