Churachandpur: Assam Rifles at Veng, Churachandpur successfully concluded a pre-training programme for aspiring candidates of the Agniveer Recruitment Rally, held from 16 July to 15 September 2026. The initiative was designed to empower local youth by equipping them with the necessary skills and confidence to participate in the forthcoming recruitment process.
A total of 44 male candidates took part in the structured programme, which emphasised physical training, basic military orientation, discipline and guidance tailored to the requirements of the Agniveer selection. The training provided a supportive environment for participants to strengthen their fitness, enhance their confidence and develop the resilience needed for the challenges ahead.
The closing ceremony at Battalion Headquarters Veng, Churachandpur brought together candidates and Assam Rifles personnel, where the Battalion Second-in-Command congratulated the trainees on their successful completion of the programme. He encouraged them to remain disciplined, focused and determined in their pursuit of joining the Armed Forces.
This initiative reflected the importance of preparing young aspirants for meaningful career opportunities, while also reinforcing the bond between Assam Rifles and the local community. By nurturing discipline, confidence and perseverance, the programme has contributed to shaping a motivated group of candidates ready to take on the Agniveer recruitment rally with renewed determination.
