EU bans export of goods and technologies to Russia

Brussels: The European Union has decided to ban the exports of goods and technologies which can be used for oil refining, the legal document said.

The European Union has also decided to ban the exports of goods and technologies which can be used for the Russian aviation and space industry, the legal document said.

“It shall be prohibited to sell, supply, transfer or export, directly or indirectly, goods and technology suited for use in aviation or the space industry, whether or not originating in the Union, to any natural or legal person, entity or body in Russia or for use in Russia,” the document said.
