Moscow: Ukraine and Russia are currently discussing a date and a place of possible negotiations, with Kiev being ready to speak about the cessation of hostilities and peace, Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s press secretary Sergii Nykyforov said.
The adviser of the head of Zelenskyy’s office, Mykhailo Podolyak, said that Zelenskyy and Putin could discuss the possible neutral status of Ukraine.
In the early hours on Thursday, Russia launched a special operation after the breakaway republics of Donetsk and Luhansk requested assistance to defend themselves from ongoing attacks by the Ukrainian troops.
The Western countries have strongly condemned the Russian military operation and boosted the sanctions pressure on Moscow.Â
