Three active Covid-19 cases in Meghalaya

Two active cases have been reported from East Khasi Hills district and one from South West Khasi Hills district, Principal Secretary Health and Family Welfare Department, Sampath Kumar said.

Shillong: Meghalaya has three active COVID cases with a positivity rate of 2.40 per cent, a health official said on Monday. 

Two active cases have been reported from East Khasi Hills district and one from South West Khasi Hills district, Principal Secretary Health and Family Welfare Department, Sampath Kumar said.

The other ten districts have zero cases as of now.

Four Covid-19 cases were detected in the last seven days, while three people have recovered from the viral infection, Kumar said. 

Moreover, he also informed a total of 167 tests were conducted in the last seven days, of which 70 were conducted in East Khasi Hills district which include the State capital Shillong, six in Ri Bhoi district, two in South West Khasi Hills district and 89 in West Garo Hills district.
