Ambassa (Tripura): The mysterious death of a housewife at Ganganagar area in the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai sparked enough resentment and the locals demanded stringent action against the hubby claiming it an incident of murder.
Around midnight last Friday night, the family of the housewife identified as Helima Bibi(32) was called upon at her in-law’s house and when they reached she was found hanging. At that moment her hubby Abdul Ali alias Ershad was not at home. The brother of the deceased identified as Abdul Mia alleged, “It is a planned murder. She was standing still with her feet resting on the ground as we found reaching there. Moreover, there were constant problems in the family”. Local people also hinted of the possibility of murder.
Abdul alias Ershad indulged in different anti-social activities and local people demanded stringent action from police.
