Patna: The sleuths of the special Vigilance unit of Bihar Police were conducting raids simultaneously at the premises of mines and Geology department OSD Mrityunjay Kumar his brother Dhananjay Kumar and his woman friend since morning.
The additional director general of SUV N H Khan said here today that cases were registered at the SUV police station against the OSD, his brother and his friend Ratna Chatterjee under various sections. The raids were going on after procuring a search warrant from the court, he said, adding that separate teams of SUVs were carrying on the raid in Patna, Katihar and Araria.
The OSD is also in charge of the Private Secretary of the mines and geology Minister Janak Ram.
It may be recalled that the Delhi police had arrested Bablu Arya the personal secretary of the Minister for getting prepared fake cards for the Parliament building in Delhi.
