Nagaland records 21 new COVID positive cases

Nagaland's Tuesday's active cases report said out of 225, 24 are currently admitted to COVID hospitals, while 186 are under home isolation.

Kohima: The number of CORONA cases has significantly reduced in the state with only 21 new cases reported Tuesday increasing the total number of infected cases to 31,747 so far and with no more deaths the toll remained at 681.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin Wednesday, among the five fresh COVID cases Tuesday, the new cases were detected from three districts of Nagaland, with 14 cases in Dimapur, four cases in Kohima and three in Wokha, taking the total caseload to 31,747, with a positivity rate of 3.2 per cent.

On the recovery of COVID infected patients in the State, altogether a total of 39 more patients recovered from the disease Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 29,807 in the state, with a COVID-19 recovery rate of 93.88 per cent.
