Aizawl: Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr R Lalthangliana on Wednesday urged churches, NGOs and local volunteers to revive efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 in view of the recent spike of COVID-19 positive cases in the state.

The Health Minister, on Wednesday, interacted with representatives of churches, NGOs, Mizoram Village Council Association and Aizawl City Local Council Association in view of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases.

The Health Minister praised the collective efforts of churches, NGOs and Village/Local Level Task Force at the peak of coronavirus last year which produced great results in containing the spread of the virus in the state.
