Shillong: The second day of the Second Edition of the Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM 2.0), organised by the Department of Commerce and Industries, Government of Meghalaya, was held at the State Convention Centre, Shillong, bringing together entrepreneurs from all 12 districts of the State and domestic and international buyers.

During the meet, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from Meghalaya interacted with buyers and representatives from different countries, exchanging ideas on their products, exploring market requirements and discussing potential business partnerships.

Several MSMEs were able to establish business linkages with international buyers, with some signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) for the supply of their products to overseas markets.

The two-day initiative aims to create new business and export opportunities for MSMEs in the State by providing them with a platform to showcase their products, understand market demands and establish direct business connections. More than 300 entrepreneurs are participating in the event, with 32 domestic and international buyers attending the meet.

RBSM 2.0 is expected to strengthen market linkages for Meghalaya’s MSMEs, expand the reach of locally produced goods beyond the State and create new avenues for business growth, investment and exports.
