Thoubal: The District Industries Centre, Thoubal organised a one-day awareness cum-Udyam Registration Drive at Leishangthem Leijingthou CLF Office Conference Hall in the Thoubal C.D Block, Thoubal District, Manipur under the Raising & Accelerating of MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme of Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Govt. of India.
The dignitaries have delivered the benefits of online Udyam Registration and schemes extended to the entrepreneurs who are working in the categories of MSMEs and credit facilities available from the financial institutions. The interest subvention program of RAMP goal of enhancing accessibility. The dignitaries also delivered about Logistic Strengthening for the MSMEs — Linkage Creation & Transport Facilities extended to MSME units for transportation of Machineries, raw material or finished goods from outside the state, a subsidy of 1/3td of the transport cost (up-to Rs, 1,50,000/-). Under the RAMP Program.
The main objective is to reduce borrowing cost for women owned MSMEs by covering 2% annual interest (applicable up to 4 lakhs of entire loan size) on new or incremental loans encourage formalization of informal women-led enterprises and support income enhancement for women in Manipur.
Further, it is informed that all the interested persons who have not yet registered on Udyam Portal in the concerned District are hereby requested to join the Awareness—cum-Udyam Registration Drive.
The programme was attended by Oinam Deven Singh, General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC), Thoubal and Kakching District, Thokchom Bikram Singh, Cluster Co-ordinator, MSRLM Thoubal, Meishanam Premika Devi, Block Co-ordinator, MSRLM Thoubal and 70(seventy) entepreneurs have turned out and participated in the camp.
