Imphal: Manipur reported 59 positive cases, no Covid-related death and 99 recoveries in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Monday , as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the 59 persons who tested positive, 18 are from Imphal West, 12 from Churachandpur, nine from Imphal East, four each from Kakching and Thoubal, three from Bishnupur, two each from Kangpokpi, Senapati and Ukhrul and one each from Chandel, Kamjong and Tamenglong. Altogether, 594 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 9.9 %.
Meanwhile, 99 persons recovered, 68 from home isolation, 25 discharge, five JNIMS and one RIMS. The recovery rate of the state as of Friday stands at 98.11 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 133 out of which 1, 36,503 have recovered leaving 501 active cases in the state.
As on July 31 , 2022, 316 D-type oxygen cylinders and 13 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available at different health facilities in Manipur.
The status of Covid Hospital facilities in the state as on August 1, 2022 are as follows: JNIMS has a total of 38 beds out of which 17 are occupied and 21 are vacant. RIMS has a total of 62 beds out of which 31 are occupied and 31 are vacant.
The total number of doses administered on July 31 is 340 , the cumulative number of doses administered is 31,05,928 (1st dose 16,14,713, 2nd dose 12,86,917) and precautionary dose is 2,04,298.
