Imphal: Governor of Manipur La. Ganesan flagged off the Army Medical Corps Motorcycle Expedition team from Raj Bhavan in Imphal this morning. The expedition team had arrived at Imphal from Silchar Tuesday.
Talking to the team, Governor said, “We are proud of our brothers in the army, they are protecting our country not only in the line of defence but also in many other ways”.
Governor Ganesan while lauding the efforts made by the Army to fight the Covid pandemic said that the Army Medical Corps has been playing a great role to eradicate the pandemic.
He also thanked the team members and wishes them to complete their expedition. Later, Governor flagged off the team from Raj Bhavan for Kohima.
The team was led by Colonel Rajesh Adhau, SM. The expedition was flagged off from India Gate in New Delhi on April 3, 2022, and came through Guwahati. The expedition team put together to thank people in the post-Covid pandemic situation.
