Imphal: Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM) has in a notification on Tuesday that it is mandatory for all schools recognized by BOSEM to use the syllabus and textbook prescribed by the Board for Classes I to X for their course of study.

The notice further said that the Board will view the matter with seriousness if schools do not adhere to the decision of the board and warned that the Board may take appropriate action at any moment including withdrawal of recognition/affiliation of the school.
