Pune: The voting for two Assembly seats of By-elections begins with peaceful notes at both constituency in Kasba peth and Chinchwad.
The Voters were welcomed with the sound of clarinet and rangolis.
Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidate from Kasba Constituency Mr Ravindra Dhangekar along with his wife cast their votes at Municipal School Kamala Nehru Vidyalaya this morning.
There are tough fights in Kasba Constituency between BJP’s candidate Hemant Rasane and Mahavikas Aghadi’s Dhangekar.
In Chinchwad constituency, BJP’s Ashwini Jagtap, Nana Kate of NCP and rebel candidate Rahul Kalate are in a fray.
Voters are being welcomed with the sound of clarinet and rangolis. Voters who spontaneously came to New Marathi Vidyalaya and Primary School are voting peacefully.
The 6.5 percent voting in Kasba constituency were registered in first two hours of voting said election office.
Kasba is witnessing a direct fight between the ruling BJP-Shiv Sena,Hemant Rasane, and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidate, Ravindra Dhangekar.
