Lunglei: An online water tax payment for Lawngtlai town under Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Lunglei WATSAN Circle was inaugurated Friday by Pu Kulothungan A, Deputy Commissioner, Lunglei District.
The inaugural function held at DC’s Conference Hall, Lunglei was chaired by PHED Lunglei WATSAN Circle SE Er Ngentluanga and was attended by Sub Hqrs YMA Consumer Association and media persons.
Stating that the new initiative of the PHED is a positive step towards good governance, the Deputy Commissioner congratulated the Lunglei WATSAN Circle team for their milestone achievement. He urged citizens of Lunglei to make best use of the system.
Online water tax payment can be done through PHED online payment portal (www.phedmizoram.in/billpayment.php) or through mobile applications such as Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay, Amazon Shopping App. There will be a small convenience fee for payment through the portal while payment through mobile applications will be free of cost.
