Senapati: The District Administration of Senapati continued its nationwide Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign under the Jan Bhagidaari—Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle in full swing today at the Purul T.D. Block. The event was held at Conference Hall at Purul SDO/ BDO Office under the supervision S. Lunguiba Thangal, MCS, Block Development Officer/ Sub- Divisional Officer, Purul.
Dedicated to the empowerment of India’s tribals drew 390 participants across Purul T. D. Block. Representatives and experts from line departments such as Banking Institutions, Social Welfare, District Child Protection Unit, Health and other conducted extensive awareness sessions on a wide array of welfare schemes. The core focus of the campaign remains on driving grassroots empowerment through active community participation in governance.
Additionally, 10 stalls consisting of Forest, Health, Agriculture, Social Welfare, District Child Protection Unit, ICDS, CAF & PD, Horticulture and Soil Conservation and Banking Sectors were set up to facilitate immediate assistance and provide essential on-the-spot including services, guidance, enrolment and screening of NCDs along with distribution of 200 tree seedling during the day’s campaign.
The campaign also featured interactive community activities, including a plantation drive led by BDO Purul and a village transect walk joined by residents of host village and neighbouring villages.
