Churachandpur: Continuing the outreach under “Jan Bhagidaari Abhiyan,” campaigns, the District Administration, Churachandpur today organised entitlement card saturation drives, health camps and Jan Sunwai at four different venues covering four Sub-Divisions of the district to ensure last-mile service delivery. The camps were conducted at Saidan village Community Hall in Saikot Sub- Division, Kangvai village in Kangvai Sub-division, Mualnuam Village in Mualnuam Sub-Division and Tonjang village in Singngat Sub-Division of Churachandpur district . Each camps was supervised by the respective Sub-Divisional Officers (SDO) along with the Sub-Deputy Collector (SDC) and staff.
During the outreach campaigns, Health Department conducted free medical check-ups and provided free medicines to patients, and created awareness on preventive healthcare. The Forest departments distributed free tree saplings to the beneficiaries and urged people to protect and conserve forests and environment. Officials also addressed issues related to PM-JAY, issued of forms and received for Chief Minister’s Widow Pension Scheme (CMWPS), Manipur Old Age pension (MOAP) updation, Person with disabilities and Chief Minister’s Scholarship for ST students (PWD CMST) and CMHT health cards. State Bank of India and Central Bank of India provided services on social security schemes, resolving insurance-related matters under PMJJB, PMSBY, PMJDY and APY. Fishery department addressed queries and application under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) for renovation of existing ponds and construction of new ponds. CRISIL Foundation facilitated financial literacy and awareness on PM Jan Dhan Yojana, PMJJBY and PMSBY. The SDO Offices deal with issuance of caste certificates, domicile certificates, Affidavit, birth order issue and Aadhar updation to eligible applicants on the spot. The Block Development Offices and Rural Development departments addressed employments and livelihood schemes like MGNREGS, PMAY-G updation, PM Viswakarma, Mudra loans-related grievances and queries. Departments including Women and Child Welfare, Agriculture, PWD, Education, Social Welfare (ICDS), MSPDCL, and PHED departments participated and delivered services in their respective sectors, ensuring last-mile coverage of government schemes and services to the people at their doorsteps.
District Level Officers(DLOs), officials from line departments, village Chiefs, men and women from different villages within the sub-division actively participated in the camps and availed benefits during the outreach programme.
