Kohima: Six people were arrested and huge contraband was seized from their procession, police said on Wednesday.
According to a statement. four people were arrested and 50 soap cases of Heroin weighing 650 grams was seized from them on Tuesday.
The offenders hailed from Laikoiching in the Senapati district of Manipur.
Also, two people were arrested at Khuzama and 15 packets of suspected opium weighing one kilogram each was seized from them.
Cases under relevant sections were registered and further investigation was underway, the statement added.
