Bengaluru: Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar on Friday suffered a severe heart attack and is admitted to Vikram Hospital here.
“The actor has suffered a very serious heart attack. We are monitoring and treating him,” Dr Ranganath Naik told media persons here.
He is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit and his condition is very serious, he said.
The 47-year-old Sandalwood actor is the son of legendary late Kannada actor Dr Rajkumar.
A large number of people gathered outside the hospital waiting for the medical bulletin, and some of them were seen wailing as they wished for the actor’s recovery.
