Imphal: IPR Minister Th Biswajit condoled the death Lairenjam Bijen Singh, staff reporter of Imphal Times who passes away on July 23, at RIMS due to COVID-19. In his condolence message, the Minister said that he is “deeply saddened to hear of the sudden and untimely demise of Lairenjam Bijen Singh, son of Lairenjam Muhindro Singh of Sagolband Tera Sapam Leirak, Imphal West is survived by his wife and daughter.”
Praying for the peace of the departed soul, Minister Biswajit said that “Bijen’s death has left a void that would be difficult to fill and is a loss to the media fraternity of Manipur. I offer my humble and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends and associates”.
