Imphal: The Manipur Government has issued a list of those persons who will be allowed to use mobile internet.
Home Commissioner T Ranjit released the list on Monday which included the Governor, Chief Minister, Legal Advisor to the Chief Minister, Speaker, Chief Justice, Judges, Cabinet Ministers, Advocate General, Director General of Police, Administrative Secretaries, Vice-Chancellors of Universities, senior officials and Army/ Assam Rifles up to Commandant level.
Those recommended by the Raj Bhawan, CM Secretariat, and Assembly Secretariat will also be allowed to use Internet.
Internet remained suspended in Manipur since May 3 after clashes started between two ethnic groups.
Broadband connections were earlier allowed after signing an undertaking.
