Govt committed to improve tourism infrastructures: Minister Lukhoi

He also called for public cooperation for proper maintenance of the tourism infrastructures constructed by the government to further enhance the components of the tourist destination.

Churachandpur: Tourism Minister Oinam Lukhoi Singh stated that the state government is committed to providing the best tourism infrastructures and facilities in all the districts of Manipur through the Department of Tourism, Manipur. 

While inspecting various projects taken up by the department in Churachandpur district Thursday, Lukhoi informed that all possible measures are being taken up by the government to boost the tourism sectors. He also called for public cooperation for proper maintenance of the tourism infrastructures constructed by the government to further enhance the components of the tourist destination. 

He also stated that Thursday’s visit is mainly to check on the various non functional tourist infrastructures and ensure that it is soon functional and useful for the tourists.

MLA, Singhat AC, Ginsuanhau Zou, Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism, P. Vaiphei, Director, Tourism, Ibohal Singh, DC, Churachandpur, Pawan Yadav and concerned officials of the Department were also present during the inspection.

During the visit, Minister Lukhoi inspected the Integrated Tourist Circuit – Imphal to Tuima, Manipur (Khuga Dam), Integrated Tourist Circuit of Chullouphai- Ngaloimol & Sangaikot and Integrated Tourist Destination of Eco-Tourism Complex at Mata Mualtam Hyde out park.
