COVID withdrawal:No new cases in 69 UP dists

Of the target population of 15 crores, the state has inoculated 13.29 crore doses till Saturday. More than 3.38 crore people in the state have been fully vaccinated.

Lucknow: High recoveries and a low number of fresh Covid-19 cases have reduced the Active Covid Caseload in Uttar Pradesh to 85, while the percentage of active cases as against the total confirmed cases in the state is zero per cent.

Signalling control over the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, out of the 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh, as many as 11 positive cases were reported from merely six districts in the span of the last 24 hours., officials here on Sunday said.

The state under its stringent T3 testing mechanism- ’Trace, Test and Treat’ conducted more than 73,204 Covid tests in the last 24 hours.

The Test Positivity Rate (TPR), which shows the levels of infection among people – has decreased to less than 0.01 per cent, the lowest in the country.

As Covid Recovery Rate in Uttar Pradesh steadily follows an upward graph, the state recorded the Recovery Rate at a remarkable 98.7 per cent. As many as 9 patients recovered in the span of the last 24 hours in the state.

Proactive measures such as the aggressive ‘Trace, Test & Treat’ and prevention through vaccination and Partial Corona Curfews to eradicate the pandemic, the UP government has left no stone unturned to minimise its devastating impact.

As many as 42 districts have subsided the fresh and active covid-19 cases to zero.

Over 67.18 per cent of the state’s total eligible adult population have received at least one dose, while around 22.19 per cent are fully immunized.

As the second wave of the novel coronavirus remains in control in the state, the demand to get vaccinated remains high as it is the only option to fight out the invisible enemy. Aggressive Vaccination is an integral part of the comprehensive strategy of the Yogi Adityanath government to contain the pandemic, along with adherence to coronavirus-appropriate behaviour.
