Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Thursday, four persons tested positive and 17 persons recovered in Manipur. During the same period, there was no report of any Covid-related death in the State, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the four persons who tested positive, three are from Imphal West and one from Churachandpur. Altogether, 298 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 1.3 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 752 of which 1, 37,567 have recovered leaving 37 active cases in the state.
As on September 7, 2022, 92 D-type oxygen cylinders and 0 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available at different health facilities in Manipur.
The status of Covid Hospital facilities in the state as on September 8, 2022 is as follows: JNIMS has a total of 38 beds out of which two are occupied and 36 are vacant. RIMS has a total of 62 beds out of which none is occupied leaving all 62 vacant.
The total number of doses administered on September 7, is 3,096, the cumulative number of doses administered is 31,98,415 (1st dose 16,35,512, 2nd dose 13,11,092) and precautionary dose is 2,52,195.
