Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Saturday, Manipur reported two Covid related deaths, 15 new positive cases and nine recoveries, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the 15 persons from the general population who tested positive, eight are from Chandel, four are from Imphal West, two from Kakching and one each from Thoubal.
A total of 1,111 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 1.4 %
Meanwhile, nine persons recovered and were discharged, five of them from home isolation, two from CCCs and one each from JINIMS and RIMS.
The recovery rate of the state stands at 98.39 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 36, 991 out of which 1, 34, 776have recovered leaving 97 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on March 12, is 2,925, the cumulative number of doses administered is 27,50,796 (1st dose 15,22, 340, 2nd dose 11,65, 371) and precautionary dose 63,085.
