Community awareness and sensitisation programme held at Mokokchung

Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir urged upon the teachers to focus on every child for developing basic language, literacy, numerous skills which will help them to develop  into better readers and writers.

Kohima: Community Awareness and Sensitation programme under Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009, organised by Nagaland Education Mission Society, Samagra Shiksha was held at Mokokchung at Sangtemla Community Hall on 29th January 2022.

Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir urged upon the teachers to focus on every child for developing basic language, literacy, numerous skills which will help them to develop  into better readers and writers. He also appealed to the leaders, teachers and officers to embrace innovation and changes in education and continue working hard to train the young children who will be the leaders of tomorrow.

District Education Officer, Mokokchung, Apong Jamir welcomed all the school heads of institutions, participants and resource persons. Keynote address was delivered by Dr. Khatoli, Deputy Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland.

Resource persons of the programme were Dr. Khatoli, Deputy Mission Director Samagra Shiksha Vocational Education, Vilvino, SPL Officer, Inclusive Education, Samagra Shiksha, Puseto, State Coordinator, (Out of School Children), Samagra Shiksha and Kapu Chishi, State Coordinator, Samagra Shiksha, NIPUN Bharat.
