Churachandpur: The District Administration, Churachandpur held District Hill Leaders’ Day and Meeyamgi Numit (People’s Day) Friday at Saikot Youth Club Hall, Saikot.
The Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur, Sharath Chandra Arroju, joined by all District Level Officers interacted with the people to ensure that their grievances were addressed adequately.
As a part of the programme, 45 different government departments set up stalls. Vaccination programmes and Health check-up counters were setup by Health Department. 7 persons were administered Covid – 19 vaccination and 48 persons were provided free medical check-up. 34 number of Villages / attended the programme.
A total of 91 complaints/applications were received out of which 12 were resolved on the spot and 79 still pending.
Public leaders, village chiefs, CSO leaders, DLOs from different departments and a huge number of people take part in the event.
After the programme, District Level Officers (DLO) meeting was conducted in the same venue.
