Training held for BLOs ahead of special electoral drive in Sugnoo

Kakching: Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) Khwairakpam Tompok Singh conducted training for the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in connection with the Special Drive, to be held for left out and first time/young electors in respect of 39-Sugnoo Assembly Constituency, Kakching district.

The special drive post Special Intensive Revision (SIR), is aimed at ensuring that all eligible citizens have an opportunity to be included in the electoral roll and exercise their right to vote.

Meanwhile, as a part of the ‘Angan Ka Utsav’ initiative, team of the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Cell, Kakching visited Anganwadi Centers at Kakching Paji Leikai and Kakching Khullen under the supervision of the District Administration Kakching. The initiative is a part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026.

Activities conducted during the programme included provision of Hot Cooked Meal (HCM) to children, demonstration of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) activities, handwashing and hygiene checks. Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers also attended the visit.

On the other hand, the Zonal Education Office (ZEO) under the supervision of the District Administration Kakching today organised Rangoli making event at Emmanual Mission School as a part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026. A total of 36 students participated along with 7 teachers in the event.
