Ten students from Assam have been evacuated along with other Indians so far from the restive country and they have reached New Delhi and Mumbai on separate flights, the state administration said.

“Glad to inform everyone that Shamanay Sarmah, Angshuman Sharma, Gunajit Kashyap & Shajan Hazarika have been safely evacuated from Ukraine. They were received by officials of Assam Bhawan in Delhi where they will be staying till we arrange their air travel to Guwahati,” Chief Minister Sarma tweeted.
