Churachandpur: The District Administration, Churachandpur today organised thematic activities under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at Dampi, Samulamlan TD Block, Churachandpur District. The camp was held under the weekly theme “Health & Nutrition – Swasthya Evam Poshan Sewa”, focusing on awareness generation, citizen support and service facilitation. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Mangte Jonathan Kom, SDO/BDO, Samulamlan, in coordination with line departments.
As part of the facilitation, various line departments set up stalls and provided on-the-spot services to the beneficiaries.The camp recorded a footfall of 30 citizens. 10 persons were tested for Malaria and given counselling on prevention under Health and Family Welfare Department. 11 students were facilitated under Education Department with 05 receiving books and notebooks through ADC and 06 given awareness and counselling on Pre and Post Matric Scholarship. 12 beneficiaries were facilitated under ICDS Cell with 07 applications issued under Ima Nongthang Leima Tengbang Scheme, 02 under Old Age Pension and 03 under Widow Pension were facilitated during the camp.
The camps witnessed enthusiastic participation from 25 officials from SDO/BDO Samulamlan, Health & FW, Education (ZEO &ADC), ICDS Cell and local villagers.
