Arunachal reports 490 new Covid-19 cases; two succumb

According to the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services, out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the highest at 136, followed by Papum Pare 35 and Changlang 34.

Itanagar: As many as 490 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s caseload to 46,357 while the death toll rose to 218 as two more succumbed to the virus.

According to the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services, out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the highest at 136, followed by Papum Pare 35 and Changlang 34.

Of these, 269 patients are symptomatic and 221 asymptomatic.

As per the bulletin, of the fresh casualties, one each was reported from Itanagar Capital Complex and Tawang.

On the other hand, the recoveries tally rose to 41,820 as 435 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours.

Active cases tally stands at 4,319.
