Arunachal Pradesh logs single COVID-19 case, no recoveries

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh registered only one new COVID-19 case during the past 24 hours, pushing its tally of confirmed cases to 55,332, a health official said on Monday.

On the other hand, with no recoveries recorded during the period, the state’s COVID recuperation count remained static at 55,036, the official said.

The fresh case was detected through a rapid antigen test in the District Jail, Jully, under Itanagar Capital Complex. The infected person was asymptomatic, he said.

On the immunisation front, Arunachal Pradesh has administered over 14.55 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses to its adult population to date since the launch of the nationwide vaccination drive in January this year.
