Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested five persons and seized banned medicinal herbs in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, police said.
A police spokesman said Sunday afternoon that an alert police party foiled a smuggling bid when they arrested five persons and seized 1102 kgs of banned medicinal herbs in Ganderbal.
A case has been registered and further investigation was taken up, he said.
