Imphal: Khoupum Battalion and Manipur Police busted a hideout of proscribed insurgent group ZUF (J) and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from Nungjang village, Kangpokpi district on November 30.

Assam Rifles official Wednesday said based on specific inputs regarding the presence of ZUF(J) cadres, the combined force launched a search operation at Nungjang village. The cadres managed to escape the place before the arrival of security forces.
