Imphal: A team of NAB-PS arrested two drug peddlers and seized a large quantity of drugs on Saturday last week.
The arrested persons have been identified as Md. Habibur Rahaman alias Motibur Rahaman, 39 years of Kwakta Ward No. 7, Bishnupur District and Md. Fajal, 37 years of Kwakta Selva, Bishnupur District from Tuibong Churachandpur along DC road.
The team also seized 50 numbers of soap cases containing suspected heroin power 4 weiging about 624 grams including the weight of the transparent plastic.
The team also recovered and seized one Alto K10 without registration number and two mobile phones along with SIMs from them.
The arrested persons along with the seized item are handed over to NAB -PS, Manipur and a case has been registered for investigation.
