Kohima: Nagaland reported 39 new cases on Friday, which increased the total number of infections tally to 31,811 so far and with no more death reported, the death toll remained at 684, health authorities informed on Saturday.
According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin released on Saturday, among the 39 fresh COVID cases reported on Friday, the new cases were detected from four districts of Nagaland, with Dimapur district reporting 24 cases, Mokokchung 9 cases, Kohima five cases and Peren one case.
On the recovery front in the state, altogether a total of 29,864 people have so far recovered from the disease, with the state having a recovery rate of 93.87 per cent. The active cases in Nagaland stood at 222 on October 29.
