Guwahati: Assam recorded 54 more COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours.
As many as 4548 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Assam on Friday. These new cases were detected after carrying out tests of 123593 samples.
These cases were detected in Assam at a positivity rate of 3.68 percent.
Of the new cases detected in Assam, 421 cases have been detected in Kamrup-Metro district.
On the other hand, the COVID-19 recovery rate in Assam currently stands at 87.02 percent.
