Imphal: Hundreds of women and students took out a rally on Tuesday demanding National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Manipur in the streets of the main market, Khwairamband Keithel.
Women organizations, six student bodies took out the protest rally however they were stopped by police.
The protestors said illegal immigrants have started dictating terms in various parts of the state as their population has increased drastically.
