Kamjong: Kamjong District continues to hold various activities and programmes as part of the month long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026 at different places of the district.
A One-Day Farmers’ Awareness programme was jointly organised by District Co-operative Officer, Kamjong and Spring LAMPS Ltd today at Riha Village. Over 70 farmers attended the programme.
Integrated Child Development Services, Kamjong also organised Aangan Ka Utsav under the supervision of District Programme Officer (DPO), Kamjong at Kamjong District headquarter. The programme focused on interactive outreach and recognition of the contributions of Anganwadi and ASHA workers, along with health and nutrition drives aimed at promoting the welfare of women and children.
Meanwhile, a Seva Setu camp was set up at Lamlai Khunou, Kamjong District by the Office of the District Supply Officer, CAF & PD today as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. As many as 138 Ekyc for beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) was completed and another new 76 beneficiaries were enrolled during the camp.
Further, awareness programmes on World Rabies Day 2026 were also organised at Community Health Centre, Kamjong under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer, Kamjong and at K. Somrei village, Kasom Khullen by the District Veterinary Office. Mass awareness was given on Rabies Cum Free Anti-Rabies vaccination for cats and dogs.
