Imphal: Wa-Bamboo Exhibition began Friday at G.M Hall, here in connection with the World Bamboo Day, 2022.
The exhibition started as a part of the World Bamboo Day observed in other parts of the world on 18th September.
The Exhibition was inaugurated by National Bamboo Mission, Manipur’s Assistant Mission Director N. Somorendro, World Bamboo Organization’s former President Kamesh Salam and Bamboo Forum of India’s Coordinator Sukumar Haobam.
The celebration of the World Bamboo Day is jointly organized by Bamboo Development Promotion Organisation and Bamboo Forum of India. The event will highlight the exhibition of Wa-Bamboo products and it will be continued till 18th September, 2022 on which World bamboo Day falls.
