Kanpur: Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the arrival of President Ram Nath Kovind in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh on November 24.
Additional chief secretary, Home Department, Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that the President is going to visit the city on Wednesday. During the two-day city stay, the President will participate in the programs that will be organized in the city.
A complete blueprint has been drawn for the security of the President in the city. Police have been stationed from Chakeri Airport to the venues of the president’s visit. Eight helipads have been built for the President’s program. For the security of the President, 10 IPS, 12 ADCP, 25 DSP, 70 Inspector, 200 SI, 1200 constable, and 5 company PAC will be deployed.
According to the proposed schedule so far, he will reach Chakeri airport on November 24 on his special plane from Delhi.
From there he will participate in the programs which will be organized in the city and will stay overnight at Circuit House. He will also attend the centenary year program which will be organized at HBTU on November 25.
