Visakhapatnam: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officer on special duty (OSD) P Seshadri, also known as Dollar Seshadri, died here due to a heart attack on Monday.
Seshadri, 72, was in the city to participate in the ‘Karthika Deepotsavam.’
Seshadri has been in the service of Srivari since 1978.
Although he retired in 2006, Seshadri has been working in Tirumala temple under extension as the OSD for the last 15 years.
TTD Additional Executive Officer Dharmareddy said the death of Dollar Seshadri was a great loss to TTD.
His body has been shifted to his residence in Tirupati.
His dead body will remain there at his residence for Monday and the last rites will be performed on Tuesday, according to sources.
