Agartala: A brilliant 2010 batch IAS cadre of Tripura and Director of Urban Development Dr Sandeep Mahatme has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Health and Family Welfare of Delhi government on deputation under the Central Staffing Scheme for four years.
Appointments Committee of Cabinet’s has cleared his nod for interstate deputation and he was directed to resume duty by April 8 next.
Dr Mahatme was graduated in medical science and has served at the National Health Mission for a long time before being elevated as District Magistrate here.
Besides, Urban Development department, Dr Mahatme has been the Director of Skill Development, Chief Executive Officer of Tripura Urban Development Authority (TUDA) and Mission Director, Agartala Smart City Ltd.
