Senapati: As per ECI instruction, the District Election Officer, Senapati began its first round of training for polling personnel at Mini Secretariat Block 2- Room No. 1 & Room No. 2 and DRDA Hall. Altogether 1669 (964 Males and 705 Females) polling personnel consist of Presiding Officer and Polling Officer were present in today’s training.
The trainees were briefed on the introduction of poll preparedness by the SDOs Paomata, Purul, Tadubi, Phaibung, Songsong, Willong and Senapati. The training will continue till January 17, 2022. It may be said the polling personnel will be given hand on training on the 2nd and 3rd round for smooth conduct of Election.
The trainees were required to be Vaccinated and those not vaccinated were provided with vaccination facility.
Meanwhile, a meeting was held with the intending candidates and their respective agents on rate chart of items for use in the 12th General Election to Manipur Legislative Assembly, 2022, MCC and Candidate Expenditure Account Register.
