Night temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at a few places over west Rajasthan; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at many places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Bihar, Saurashtra and Kutch; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Konkan and Goa; at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over coastal Karnataka; at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura; at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Marathwada, north interior Karnataka, south interior Karnataka, Andaman, Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.

They were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at many places over Telangana; at a few places over Odisha, Rayalaseema, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Vidarbha; at isolated places over east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat Region and near normal over rest parts of the country.

The lowest minimum temperature of 9.5°C reported at Dehri (Bihar) over the plains of the country.

Thunderstorm recorded (from 0830 hours IST of yesterday to 0830 hours IST of today): at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad.

Fog recorded (at 0830 hours IST of today): Moderate fog at isolated pockets over Uttarakhand and Gangetic West Bengal.

Visibility recorded (at 0830 hours IST of today): Canning-200 m; Pantnagar-500 m.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh and south interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather has prevailed in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, coastal and north Interior Karnataka and Kerala.
